Future oriented – Bornemann GmbH Marking Technology
1961 Establishment of Bornemann GmbH in Remscheid by Karl Heinz Bornemann. Production of steel dies and traditional manual creation of engravings.
1963 Acquisition of the first machines in engraving technology.
1992 Switch to CNC technology with CNC engraving machines.
1994 Assumption of management by Michael Wisniewski. Investments in the expansion of the production area of milling and erosion technology with state-of-the-art CNC tool milling machines, erosion machines, grinding machines and controlled turning and start hole boring machines.
1996 Establishment of a laser department as a third production unit.
2008 Construction of a business and industry building with double the business area and relocation of the company to the new site in Wermelskirchen. Expansion of the machine park by one HSC engraving machine and addition to production of an additional 5-axle processing centre.
2009 Bestowal of the Energy Award of the Cologne Chamber of Crafts and RheinEnergie AG on Bornemann GmbH for a particularly energy-saving heating system, with which the waste heat of machines generated during the production process is used to generate heating power and hot water.
